TALKING POINT: As Madonna flashes her breast onstage has she gone too far?

The Material Girl has come under fire after flashing during a concert in Istanbul last week.

And unlike Janet Jackson’s accidental ‘nipple slip’ at the Super Bowl in 2004, Madonna’s peek-a-boob during her MDNA tour was very definitely intentional.

 The 53-year-old singer began stripping off as she sang Human Nature, whipping of her white shirt before pulling at her bra strap. And then, in typical Madonna fashion, she yanked it down to reveal her left breast.

 If that wasn’t enough, she also put her hand down her pants – begging the question, has the Queen of Pop simply gone too far this time?

 For some commentators, it would seem the answer is YES. ‘Most embarrassing, cringe-worthy, desperate moment in music’, tweeted Piers Morgan.

 It’s the latest episode in Madonna’s quest to shock. The artwork for her single Girl Gone Wild featured her in a barely-there black bra and knickers (the same bra, incidentally, that she wore on stage in Istanbul).

 And while we agree she’s got an AMAZING body, do we really want to, you know, see so much of it?
